Many racist comments to Asian audience

I attended the comedy show on 13th August for the 4th time, 3 times with my European friends and the 4th time was with my Asian community as I encouraged them to come with me. Regrettably, during the Read more show, my friends and I had to endure many racist comments that I did not experience before, such as "you don't need to close your eyes because you already have closed eyes," etc. The final American comedian's jokes (did not find them funny at all), which fell flat, included comments like "Laugh! Are you sure you speak English? Because your faces don't look like it," causing us to lose our patience. It's disheartening how anti-Asian sentiments are not taken seriously. I wanted to share our uncomfortable evening here. The rest of the show was cool.

We deeply regret any discomfort caused. Please understand that the show features a diverse range of comedians, some of whom are regulars while others are guest performers. While we aim to provide a platform for various voices, it can be challenging to fully control their content. We are genuinely committed to preventing such incidents in the future. Fun evening

It was our first time last night and it was a great evening. The comedians were fantastic, the host had a uplifting energy, which kept the audience engaged. We will definitely be back.
